A2Z Sport Academy traces its roots from Patriots Basketball Dubai, a team led by Coach Eugene Opu-an since 2018. What started as a passion in bringing kids into sports eventually evolved into a fully recognized basketball training institution.
In mid-2022, discussions began to formalize the team into a licensed sports academy, exploring several name ideas before ultimately establishing the name A2Z Sport Academy, representing a complete pathway for youth development from A to Z, carrying the true identity of the company.
A2Z Sport Academy proudly obtained its official license in December 2022 fully complying with the provisions and regulations of the UAE Ministry of Sports and the only Philippine-owned sports academy registered in UAE Basketball Federation, setting the benchmark for other Filipino basketball groups in UAE to obtain proper licensing and operate in the legal way.
